Flagstaff Estate
My recent retreat to Flagstaff Estate was akin to stumbling upon a secret oasis, except only minutes away from the reach of Hobart. Knowing the busy season was about to get real, a few of my friends and I hit pause briefly on our lives to gather and recharge, with the simple purpose of enjoying each other’s company…
I first learned of Flagstaff Estate when I saw that my beautiful friend Chantelle (from our high school days long ago) had been working on something special. Chantelle works full time as a remote community nurse as well as managing Flagstaff, and it was a real thing of wonder to see the love and energy that she’s put into every detail of this place…
Sitting amongst bushland teeming with wildlife, the experience of staying here is such a sublime, intertwined blend of luxury and nature. We woke up to the sounds of magpies warbling, and the calls of cockatoos finding their nightly roosts in nearby gum trees echoed through the quiet valley each evening.
Many dips in and out of the pool, a few little energy bursts on the tennis court (must remember our tennis whites next time), reading, sipping, talking, lazing… its safe to say that by the end of our time here, we were feeling sufficiently realigned.
Flagstaff Estate has six beautiful bedrooms, spacious living areas, an incredible chef’s kitchen - all reasons that make it the perfect place to gather a big bunch of people you love for a very nice time <3
